Saddle Tan in color… Clear signs of residue, no attempt has been made to clean pipe. No significant chips or cracks. Good used condition, needs cleaning. The “12” Stack from Dunhill is an old shape: In an earlier form it was the basis of one of the “windshield” pipe designs that Alfred Dunhill himself once marketed as ideal for automobile drivers. This Group 4 is a more traditional rendition of the shape, adding a bit of stoutness as well as overall increase in scale and chamber to the form when compared to Group 2 and 3 versions. One of Dunhill’s more recent finishes, the Amber Root was introduced in 1995. Like the Root Briar, it showcases a smooth stain, accentuating the briar’s natural grain in traditional style. Typically auburn-hued, the Amber Root is often a touch darker in color than that of the Root Briar, pairing handsomely with the jet-black stem for an aesthetic that combines the grain definition of the Root Briar finish with the darker, smokier tones of the Bruyere. This pipe is a great addition to any tobacco pipe collection. It has been lightly smoked and is in excellent shape. Chamber Diameter – 20 mm. Chamber Depth – 30 mm. Length – 139 mm. Bowl Height – 45 mm.
