Robert Vacher 7 – ½ Inch Rusticated Bent Cognac/ Handmade, U. Pipe maker Robert Vacher of Laughing Moon Pipes started learning pipe making back in 1986 from Ted Lewis, and then began making them in earnest on a regular basis in 1999, when he bought 1/2 a bag of briar from Mark Tinsky at American Smoking Pipe Co. In absolute mint condition, here’s a dazzling Vacher bent Cognac shaped pipe with titillating rustication sure to please those who enjoy a rustic hand hold. It houses a deep chamber ideal for your favorite flake or pressed blends. Draft hole is center and above the bottom of the chamber. Chamber interior is very clean and very sound, appearing unsmoked. The graceful, tenon to mortise union is sound, snug and flush. Vulcanite stem is a crisp jet black bearing no marks. Pipe does not accept a filter. Pipe weighs only a mere 2. 30 ounces (65.1 grams). 1 – ¾ inches. 2 – ¼ inches.
