Its bown is surrounded by straight grain and there is very tight birdseye grain at the platteau top and botton of the bowl. Its dense and tight graining and its Emerald in an 18K gold setting on the stem which signifies its high rank among Ser Jacopo pipes. The nomenclature is on the bottom panel of the bowl.
