Vintage Savinelli Capri Root Briar 413 Dublin Tobacco Pipe NM. Lightly smoked Savinelli Capri Root Briar Slightly bent Dublin #413, Deeply rusticated with a walnut finish, and original Acrylic stem with Zero chatter. Overall condition of this pipe outstanding. Also included is the original Savinelli pipe sleeve. A very dynamic design, the Savinelli “413” is in form essentially like their “404” Zulu, but reconfigured as a bent Dublin, ultimately resulting in a uniquely “Savinelli” shape. Many pipe companies seem to stick with one style and simply stain it different colors and adorn it with various ferrules and whatnot to achieve different results, but Savinelli really thinks a little more deeply about pairing rustication with the other aspects of the pipe. This really shows in the Capri with it deeply rusticated texture, reminiscent of Castello’s Sea Rock Style of Rustication, making for a beautiful and striking Pipe. Cleaned and ready to smoke. Overall length: 6 1/8. Bowl height: 1 7/8. Bowl width: 1 3/8. Chamber depth: 1 1/2. Chamber is in great lightly smoked condition with No Scorching, Ghosting or Rim Darkening. Stem is Acrylic, Chatter free and fits pipe shank perfectly. Cleaned inside/out and buffed with a wax specifically designed for rusticated surfaces.
