Practically new and hard to find GBD Prehistoric Billiard Model/shape#: 122. What a statement piece! The crystal clear Perspex stem with its bright brass rondel seats elegantly against the dark contrast of the wood. This stem makes a fine magnifying glass I noticed! The smooth rim has a little darkening but it is superficial. Dark and light brown blasted finish is like new and retains a nice matt sheen that will age nicely. Chamber was pretty clean to begin with so little reaming needed. As for the stem it has NO usage staining in the draft hole, only a small bit on the inside of the tenon (likely from the wood stain), unbelievable! He is very light at just a touch over 1oz making this a fine all-day pipe. The last pic is from before work done showing his well preserved condition. Measurements: 5 3/4″ long, 1 5/8″ tall, 1 1/4″ wide, 13/16″ bowl opening, and 1 1/2 bowl depth. Weight: 1.05oz or 29.7g. I know you have a lot of options here at the Bay. I thank you for your consideration! Basic recondition included wet sanded, and polished stem. Draft hole cleaned out at 9/64. Lightly sanded to mostly wood inside. Buffed/brushed out and hand rubbed and sealed with Paragon and Halcyon wax for preservation and easier cleaning. This pipe will be thoroughly clean and safe for your enjoyment. Please don’t be offended if I refuse an offer. I spend countless hours on each of these pipes making sure that my customers have an heirloom piece they can enjoy for years to come. There will likely be imperfections from years of use but I try to bring them as close to new as possible with my current skill set. I also like to exercise a little creative liberty to give some pieces a unique personality! Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or comments.
