Czech Amberia Cigarette Cigar Holder Smoked Pipe Set Butterscotch Bakelite Vtg. The case label reads Majestic Brand Genuine Amberia DeLux Set. Each of the four piece is stamped Czecho Slovakia (on one pipe it is on the bottom of the dark stem). NOTE that curved dark stem on that pipe is CRACKED along the underside. I did a rub and smell test on the butterscotch toned part of each piece (indicating bakelite, I tried it on the transparent stems but they didn’t have the characteristic odor from the rub and smell test). Both of the pipes are heavily smoked and the bowls are still filled with the old carbonized hardened remains and were not cleaned or emptied when last used (see photos), I decided to leave these as is, I’m not sure to what degree the bowls are salvageable. Those two pipe bowls have a lot of edge discoloring from smoking as well as some uneven top bowl edges (I assume from some burning off). The cigar holder has some smoking residue but it looks like it wasn’t used much (I wiped around the front edge but the darker discoloring didn’t clean off and I assume it to be burned into the edges). The cigarette holder looks like it wasn’t smoked or if so was cleaned after use etc. For size reference the cigar holder is about 2.5″ long and the cigarette holder about 3″. All of the stems are a dark reddish transparent plastic of some type.
