Vintage English Estate Pipe Dunhill Chestnut Billiard 4203 (2001) Excellent Condition. DUNHILL PIPE NEAR MINT Chestnut 4203 Group 4 Smooth Finish Cumberland saddle stem. Made in Great Britain 01. I’ve always admired Dunhill’s chestnut finish and Cumberland stem- Firstly, I’m a sucker for the warm, striated tones of the brindled vulcanite stems, and secondly, few finishes do better when pairing stummel to stem than the way Dunhill executes this line’s smooth brownish red finish the stain matching perfectly with the mouthpiece. This “03” Billiard is rendered in Group 4 proportions, with the hearty, upright bowl garnering much of the visual focus while the Cumberland saddle stem redirects attention back to the stummel. Fashioned back in 2001, this piece has remained in near pristine condition for the past two decades! This pipe has been cleaned but may have a faint scent of its prior use. Style: This pipe does not take a filter. Shape: A beautiful billiard shape, thick walls and generous chamber for long firepit smoking sessions. Dimensions (approximate see pics). Length: 135mm / Length: 5.31. Height: 44mm / Bowl height: 1.73. Width: 30mm / Bowl width: 1.18. Bore: 20mm / Chamber bore: 0.79. Weight: 1.7 oz. Year of manufacture: 2001.
