VINTAGE IL CEPPO #1 BILLIARD PIPE 360 RING GRAIN STERLING BANDED HAND MADE COMES WITH ORIGINAL IL CEPPO PIPE SOCK ARTISAN CRAFTED IN ITALY. Beautiful vintage Il Ceppo (1) Deeply Sandblasted Billiard with excellent ring grain and a high contrasting finish. Sterling Banded by the maker, (Repair). Almost chatter free Acrylic taper stem. Bowl rim is smooth and shows beautiful Bird’s Eye Grain. Nice Size, Deep Chamber, Well balance and nice in hand. IL Ceppo Pipes are all hand made and production is limited to 2000 pipes a year, High quality and Very Nice Smokers. Clean and shiny, ready to smoke. Overall dimensions – see detailed photos. Chamber is in great smoked condition with No Scorching, Ghosting or Rim Darkening. Stem is Acrylic Has nearly no Chatter and fits pipe shank snuggly. Cleaned inside/out and buffed with Carnauba wax. From a fifty year collection of an avid pipe collector – now scaling back for retirement from a collection of around 500 pieces to a seven day rotation. Incredible pipes of finest makers from England, Ireland, Italy, Scandinavia, and the USA. Almost all over 25 years old, some 50, 70 or in a couple of cases 100 years old. General Dawes, Captain Warren C. Lyon Smoking Pipe 1940’s NOS Unused Frank MD- The flat bottom makes this a General Dawes. Top bowl screws into the bottom bowl so the air in between cools off the smoke. Pipe shows rack marks but its unused. Shiny black vulcanite stem is pristine. Below is an interesting read. Please see the HD pictures as part of the description. If the rim of the bowl is out of focus, I was trying to show the interior of the chamber. I will wrap it very securely so this pipe will arrive just as you see it.
