This is a very special and Rare piece of art, carved out from one of the best top Plateu super high grade briars! Look at the perfection of tight 360 flame grain and those marvelous birdseye on top of rim! Also this pipe was carved EXCLUSIVELY for “Barcelona Pipe Club” for their 2005 pipe smoking event. It’s a 1/1 piece!!! Also 19 years old makes This briar a Vintage super Great Smoker!! All you can dream in 1 pipe is contained in this Outstanding creation with a Rodhesian shape style and kind of “Delecta” mounting shape Stem! About whom carved this marvelous smoker…. L’Anatra pipes, carved by Massimo Palazzi and Andrea Pascucci, herald from one of the great centers of Italian pipemaking, Pesaro in North Italy. Pesaro is famed for being preeminent in the world of pipe making to such an extent that, given its unique neoclassical styling, pipes made in the neoclassical style are often described as being of the “Pesaro School”. Pesaro features some of the greatest names in Italian pipe making, includingMastro de Paja, Rinaldo, Ser Jacopo, Le Nuvole, And Il Ceppo. Along with the area around Cucciago, Italy, this area has been at the forefront of the Italian pipe renaissance and the Pesaro style has permeated the method and style of pipe makers throughout Italy. The pipe makers of Pesaro all but created neoclassical pipe making. Neoclassical pipes are characterized by their loose interpretation of traditional shapes and their focus upon elegant, artistic lines and curves. Indeed, neoclassicism from Pesaro did to Italian pipes what the early Modernist artistic movements did to sculpture and painting. The influence of the great Pesaro pipe makers is clearly visible in L’Anatra pipes, and yet L’Anatra has a style very much unto its own also. L’Anatra pipes, though certainly elegantly neoclassical, are more playful. It is difficult to articulate this playfulness in the form and composition, but clearly Palazzi and Pascucci have sought to push the boundaries of the neoclassical form. The result is elegant while seeming less formal and urbane. The styling seems as much intended to amuse as to impress. It is rare that an artisan of any variety can make light of his pursuits. One might argue that it is even more rare among pipe makers given the traditionalism that typifies them. Indeed, it is delightful to see pipe carvers of extraordinary ability and talent that are so in love with their craft that they are able to create pieces that display their silly, playful side in addition to their virtuosity as artists. Max Rimensi, the craftsman behind Il Duca pipes, is renowned for his versatility in adapting various design philosophies, infusing traditional forms with a modern flair through choice of stem material, design accents, and overall aesthetics. The Italian master also excels in crafting smoking tools that not only look beautiful but are engineered for durability and optimum functionality. A hallmark interpretation from Rimensi, this particular Cherrywood style is one we’ve encountered several times. Every instance reaffirms the uniform excellence of his craftsmanship, especially in maintaining the shape’s fluid dynamism. This piece features a notably elongated stem, distinguished by its vertical alignment and subtle bend, harmoniously counterpoised by an upturned shank. The shank expands from a broad transition, culminating in a stummel of bamboo just before it joins the stem. The following has been applied to this pipe. Reamed out carbon cake. The Il Ceppo brand is made in Pesaro, Italy and is part of the famous Pesaro school of design that has also produced Mastro de Paja and Ser Jacopo. That all three brands have similar characteristics can be seen at a glance, but they all have significant differences as well. Giorgio Imperatori, an architect, had a passion for pipes, and in 1978 began to design and make Il Ceppo. Always considered a good value and very good for smoking, 1995 Franco Rossi joined the firm. He brought with him a true elegance of design and a unique flair that now helps Il Ceppo stand apart. This one is awesome. Small size, weight only 24g. Gently smoked, well balanced, a masterpiece by the famous Italian brand, Ardor. WITH BOX AND SOCK! Personally, I like a LOT this brand. The high quality Briar made this pipe an EXCELLENT and awesome smoker! Internal Chamber Diameter: 18 mm. Internal Height Chamber: 37 mm. External Bowl Height: 42 mm. In 1974 Dorelio Rovera, with his father Angelo, established the Ardor Pipe, name which comes from the “AR” (Angelo Rovera) and “DOR” (Dorelio Rovera), changing a medium quality level production into a completely handcrafted product, with a very high level of design and finishing. Angelo Rovera is the son of Francesco Rovera, who along with his brothers comprised Sociedade Rovera. A pipe company they founded in 1911. Dorelio personally chooses the briar which is left seasoning for at least 4 to 5 years before it is worked. It is stocked in particular baskets which leave the wood always visible and airy. The pieces chosen to become a pipe are cut with a circular saw to identify the model. Then each piece is rough hewn by hand with special files, definitely “dangerous” but very efficacious to give the shape to the wood. Like most artisans, Ardor couples a classical style and a very original style with definite but free and fanciful lines, to offer and meet the largest number of requests, from the simple to the most complex. Ardor is a pipe company which is always looking for innovations, indispensable to collectors, but trying to offer a very high level product in the smoking aspect and performance of the briar, always dried and light for a higher comfort of the smoker. With Damiano, Dorelio’s son, Ardor introduced the coloured methacrylate (acrylic) stems, really appreciated in the international markets. Damiano has been able to condition the Ardor style with new shapes and with a new mouthpieces style, having a modern point of view. His target is to keep up the interest of new generations, surely more variable in a shorter period.

This 2013 RINALDO TRIADE TITANIA YYYY HIGH GRADE ITALIAN BRIAR ESTATE SMOKING PIPE BIG! The perfect addition for any pipe collection. Crafted with top-quality Italian briar, this pipe is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained. In 1987, the two brothers founded “Rinaldo Pipes” with the intention of creating fine handmade (fatta a mano) pipes with highly personalized lines fitted with silver and gold treatments that distinguish their exquisite pipes from the vast panorama of pipes. Their production is very limited since Elio and Guido are the sole ones to make the Rinaldo pipe. This has been their wish from the very first day the factory was started. Because of this loyalty to solely crafting their pipes, the smoker is guaranteed that each phase of the work is being maintained by skilled and expert hands. Each Rinaldo pipe is made from the very best Mediterranean briar and Elio and Guido select each briar block for its compact texture and regular veining. The acrylic mouthpieces are perfectly balanced and studied for optimal dental grip. This attention to detail results in a mouthpiece that has a pleasant and “easy hold” and is truly a “work of art”. The Rinaldo pipe is currently offered in the following finishes: Lithos(Rustic) – Sahara(Sandblast) – Triade(Smooth). The Rinaldo pipes are divided into three lines: Briar Line(All Briar) – Silver Line(Silver Ornaments) – Gold Line(Gold Ornaments). There are five grade levels: Y, YY, YYY, YYYY, and Fiammata(Straight Grain). All Shapes are available in the regular size bowl and the ” Titania” which is a bowl of greater dimensions.
